I'm sure many people here who follow basketball know how Kobe Bryant is regarded as one of the hardest workers in the sport with a "Mamba Mentality", the mentality to work harder than anyone else. Which boxers would you consider have that "Mamba Mentality", willing to run that extra mile and give 110% effort in training and the fight?

A bunch of guys you haven't heard of because they burnt out and ruined themselves overtraining.

    Obscure example.

Myung Woo Yuh. This guy had very little natural talent or power, yet became the longest reigning Light fly ever, with 18 defenses of the title, 17 of those consecutively. All because of his sheer, ridiculous work ethic.

Kostya Tszyu was another really hard worker. He always described himself as a perfectionist. A lot of people seem to mostly associate work ethic with physical conditioning, but Tszyu was apparently just as focused on developing seamless technique.

Bernard Hopkins was very similar in that regard. I read in Ring Magazine magazine that he used to end his training sessions by shadow boxing in super-slow motion, focusing on perfecting one technique (e.g. hooking off the jab) by doing it slowly with extreme focus dozens of times in a row.

Good calls so far, I'll throw Battling Nelson out there. He'd run 10 miles a day as roadwork and had training routines that more resembled torture

Id say the fact that Marciano spent 7-8 months in the training camp for his first fight with Ezzard Charles warrants him a spot here
