Robinson, Butler, Ayala, Valero, and Monzon were all complete and utter scum.

 

I misinterpreted the thread title. Was thinking it was about losing runs in the ring. But the OP obviously has something else in mind.

Became obsessed with getting his wife back. Wound up killing her then killing himself.

I don't think he was as bad as people make him out to be, life dealt him **** hand after **** hand and he was always at the whim of more cunning and ruthless people who were able to exploit him. Deep down I think he had a good heart which is why the only people he ever felt truly comfortable around were children because they didn't hurt him like everyone else did.
