    @cross_trainer got it first.

    Picks goes to “Death Mask” as the name implies he had the expression of someone who is riding the bus just about every second of the action.

    Marco Antonio Barrera. Very stone faced when he fought. When his brother fought, however, his face was more vividly expressive than a silent movie diva.

    Ha! I like the description. Boxing’s own Lillian Gish, eh?

    It was funny...when his brother fought, Marco Antonio would be at ringside wringing his hands. But I saw him sparring with his brother and they got after it. He had no problem with beating on his brother, but it pained him to see somebody else do it.

    Sal Sanchez held a nice resting stoney face throughout even 15 rounds.

    Though, I’ll admit, sometimes you could detect a slightly enigmatic, Mona Lisa-like smile crease Sal’s features - which had you wondering, “Now, what exactly is going through Sal’s mind right now?” Probably just relishing the beating he was laying on his opponent. LOL,

    Otherwise, there’s the more favoured “usual suspects” : Jocular Joe Louis and Side Splitting Sonny Liston. Talk about wearing one’s heart on one’s sleeve……..

    That pair always cracked me up.

    LOL, beating up on your brother is a rite of passage - otherwise, you become protector and beat up anyone who does same (or who even thinks of doing same to your bro).

    Sultan Ibragimov isn't #1 in this category, but the guy always looked...normal. Not exactly stone-faced or bored, but just normal. There's no other way I can describe it.

    I have an odd one that I have thought about ever since I stumbled on a movie starring Gato Gonzales (the 80's version who beat Ganigan) and Carlos Zarate. Gonzales was an absolute natural on camera and put on a great performance. Very charismatic with great facial expressions.

    Then i went back and watched his fights.

    Dull. Expressionless. No energy. No charisma.

    No explanation for it.
