    Ross Purrity is another.

And he always fought in that 2nd gear of his as well. A tough night's work for anyone though.

He always seemed like an annoyed cold hitman.

Yes. Or like he's part of a conversation at work around the water cooler, and he's not really interested, but he's trying to seem polite and engaged.

He had the face of a man you'd ask for driving directions from. Like I said: he's just normal looking.

Yes, the Professor was very attentive to and focused on his work.

Except vs Sal Sanchez, he was like an excited kid, ridiculously energised and not above some hot dogging and hot shuffling - great stuff!

Come to think of it - Joey Maxim was a very staid fellow.

Not too much happening there in the facial expressions dept.

A good example of your classic, working 9 to 5 fighter, punch on, no troughs or peaks, just do your job, steady as she goes, then punch off. “Wilma honey, I’m home……!”

    Wlad Klitschko’s opponents.

He even bores the guys he’s fighting.

Azumah Nelson is the most confident fighter I’ve ever seen….a lot of boxers are cocky ….but he was unfazed ….he was like a guy in a night club that just won’t take no for an answer lol

I think that confidence happened after extending a great champion like Salvador Sanchez into round 15 with only over a dozen of fights under his belt. Even though Nelson was stopped in round 15 after being decked once during the fight, it earned him the respect by Sanchez and carried Azumah into his very important fights later in his career.

Don Curry was another guy who had an ‘indifferent’ expression when he fought.
It was like his eyes were trapped behind an unmoving face.
