Met Andy Lee out one night after he beat Jason McKay, was pleasant enough but not chatty but I've heard he's sound enough. Met Jim Rock at a gaelic football match a few years ago - decent lad. Met Bernard Dunne years ago when he was about 12 or 13 at the Liverpool - UCD game, he was cocky even back then! Met him at Dublin - Derry in Croker a few years ago too. Went to a Wayne McCullough book signing a few years ago and he was sound, had time for everyone.

Never met Collins but my auld lad knew him years ago and he bumped into him in a shopping centre in Santry in '92, me auld lad asked for his autograph for his son and Collins went out to his car and got the programme from his fight against Morgan and authographed, a lot of bad things have been said about him in recent years but I've only ever heard people who know him say good things. Funnily enough some fat ******* came up to Collins in the shopping centre and said "are you Steve Collins? did you go to Bosco's school? I used to batter you on the way home", Collins just smiled and said "sure I'm only a middleweight"
