The services near Nottingham, he was in his Range Rover and I was coming out about to cross the Zebra Crossings, hes dropped someone off on the Zebra so hes stopped, then I started to cross( thinking I know that nose) and the **** put his foot down with his hand up already to say sorry lol...So he knew he was taking the **** before he done it..He pulled up next to me to park and after a bit of small talk(he had Abraham coming up) I got the impression he weren't that interested , so I got in the car and do you know what the Mrs said ??? " He thought you were a nob"….Oh cheers love, the ****s only just nearly ran me over too....So my opinion of Froch was a geezer painfully in love with himself..For such a warrior I cant believe he went and had a nose job

I cant see him having a laugh with the other pundits after, the best you get out of him is laughing at him (80,000 fans), I actually do find the odd snide comment he says hilarious, but its that exact character that wears thin all the time with people

Billie Joe Saunders all that talent but such an utter c**t of a guy, nasty wee piece of work who doesn't deserve the natural talent he has.

One of the best technical boxers UK has produced at least this era anyway

Its a short list for me, I find there is usually something to like about most boxers, most decent to great fighters show some form of respect towards one another which I see as a likeable point even though they might be insufferable in other ways. I'd say Froch is a fighter I find myself writing quiet negatively about on here, I think from the Groves buildups I started dislike the man and from there is got worse. He might have exposed George as the lesser fighter but he himself was exposed as an insecure narcissist, that damn near needed therapy because someone called him out. But as a fighter I have a huge amount of respect, what he did in his career was pretty amazing really and that finish capped it off.

Lennox Lewis nearly gets in there, again I think its the fact he rarely shows respect towards his past opponents, I thought he wrote a few disrespectful things about Bruno a while back, not really giving Frank much credit for the war he gave him. But when he gets interviewed I kind of like the guy again, not exactly known for his charisma but I think Lennox at least has a bit. I also think because he gets overlooked by the mainstream a bit, he over compensates to bolster himself, just to remind people he was one of the great champs.

Now this is an unexpected reference. I doubt many people here know much about Starling outside the ring. Care to elaborate?

I read that he was a bit hard work to talk to but I've never met him so who knows? Would like to though excellent under rated fighter.

Hard to say, since the way fighters appear on carnera and away from the camera can sometimes be night and day. I found this to be the case with Toney, who away from the camera was surprisingly humble and extremely patient with fans.

Lennox on the other hand was exactly as he seems. Lennox was a great fighter, but a first class a** in person. Maybe he was just in a bad mood that day, but I seen him say some really low down things to people that asked for autographs.

I grew up in Brooklyn, and knew Zab Judah’s family. I used to see him every now and then before he blew up, and couldn’t stand him.
