Im glad @ 33, Sam Peter is making another run. And he's starting with a pretty solid gatekeeper in Rossy. I think that when the smoke clear in Ukraine, Vitali will, at age 44, come back and regain his WBC title, KOing whichever paper titlist is holding atm.:think
L Lewis was not in the best shape possible. He was scheduled to fight a nobody, when that guy got hurt & Vitali stepped in. Had Lewis known all along that he was fighting Vitali, he would have been in top form & would have destroyed Klitschko.
I never expected Nikolay Valuev to retire after the Haye fight. He's about the same age as Vitali. He's never been knocked out (wonder if he's ever been knocked down) Maybe he can come out of retirement and Wilder can test him
Im saying Ricky Hatton , i know he made a comeback but i felt it could have been a success at domestic level and then stepped up
Barry Mcguigan was only 29 when he retired, still was a big draw and could have regained a world title IMO and fought Azuma Nelson. Lennox Lewis with the money on offer i was very surprised he hasn't come back. On Calzaghe people don't realize how bad his hands were/ are, saw him interviewed were he said after Kessler he had a check up and the doctor told him if he didn't stop soon he would have permanent hand damage and bad arthritis. David Haye after the Wlad embarrassment i'm surprised he didn't come back properly instead of waiting ages to fight Chisora. Naseem Hamed amazed he never came back i think he found out against Barrera he wasn't something special and if he wasn't in his mind no point carrying on.
