There is a part of me that agrees with you--he was not only very racist to white people, but to other black people, and Asians too. He saw everything in terms of race.

But it should be noted that Ali really didn't have the capacity to the the voice of a generation, or a movement, as he was thrust into being. He had a very average intellect, and a lot of the cleverness was canned for him by Bundini and other hangers-on. Ferdi Pacheco for example said that Tyson was much more of a natural intellect.

His playboy interview is disgusting NOI vomit for anyone who doubts what kind of guy he was lol and not even something he stood on as he himself was a “race traitor” bedding anyone he could of any race - it’s been said by multiple people in his camp from Angelo, Girlfriends and Bundini that half his stupid jokes and poetry he had others write for him… which makes sense considering he repeated the same phrases about 1000x great boxer but **** him as a human he deserved his fate.

Sparring partners of Foreman’s have said he is genuinely a nice guy who throws BBQ’s for everybody, win lose or draw he was in high spirits afterwards… but he doesn’t pull his punches in sparring, which is far from evil and expected of the pros at that level.
