Dariusz made 23 title defenses and unified as many belts as Wlad did. But he also won titles in two divisions and beat a Hall of Famer, which Wlad did not. Neither fought the next best fighter in their division (Vitali for Wlad, Roy Jones for Dariusz).

But Wlad seems to be a lock, and Dariusz doesn't. That's the difference between heavyweight and light heavyweight, I guess.
