He could probably take 6 months of skilled boxing training and take Rios and Murray out back to back, because those two clearly never trained in a skillful way. :yep

IT WAS NEVER, NEVER A SCIENCE!!!!

Only idiotic boxing fans actually claim it as science.

Any physical skill is an art, not a science.

Cotto vs FMJr. mirrors the Chavez Sr vs El Chapo Rosario fight. As far as Cotto's style "mimicking" Chavez Sr.

    Great example of smart presure!

people like knockouts, and ordinary fans dont anderstand thath fighting tactical and smart can be just as effective to score a knockout, but simply our brain and body is built the way that it reacts to things,so when a boxer explodes with punches we get full of adrenaline and thats a great feeling.exitement.sorry bad english

Because they are usually entertaining, and entertainment value is usually what gets fighters fans, and the fans of the entertaining fighter are usually the ones that blow the pressure fighters skills out of proportion.

It's not the style people praise it's the individual themselves. You had highly skilled, magnificent pressure fighters like Montreal Duran and Joe Frazier. Sure styles make fights, but the fighters themselves have to be pretty good too.

I think it's the 3rd time this week you say exactly what I was just thinking, in a thread. Keep on the good work.

there are and were pressure fighters who are extremely skilled, that's why. every pressure fighter isn't a walking punching bag like antonio margarito. what kind of question is this? julio cesar chavez, joe frazier, mike tyson, dwight muhammad qawi, and a long list of others. do your homework op. do your homework.

For all that people hate on Hatton, the man had a knack for closing the distance on his opponents and forcing them to fight at his desired range and pace. The muscle memory required to do something like that is most certainly an example of physical science. :deal
