Let's not get carried away. Rogan is 45 and Kellerman is 39.

Boxing is the rich man's sport.. the gentelmans sport, I don't think mma is a fad I'm sure its here to stay but boxing is like soccer compared to football (NFL) . Boxing is still more popular on a national level. I don't care if it is a old mans sport just means it tends to keep fans a lot longer.... I mean seriously how can any mma star compare to Tyson, Leonard, hagler, Morales, Barrera , pac, jmm, Ali, Frazier..

im 21 and a boxing fan

lol @ UFC. it peaked in 2009, PPVs are at an all time low. They just had to scrap their last card because nobody is paying $60 for that trash. MMA was a fad, its a zit on boxings ass. Their last card did 200k buys and it was for the 155 belt

I have said it before, MMA is lowest common denominator entertainment.

It's popular with the same sort of people who watch American Idol and Survivor.

Boxing is an art form, a sweet science. It requires patience, an education and knowledge of the history of the sport to be enjoyed properly. It's more refined, more illustrious, more skilled.

MMA on the other hand, any chump in a tap-out t-shirt and baseball cap can sit down and enjoy two blokes rolling around on the floor trying to bash each others brains out

Don't get me wrong, I follow MMA, and i'll watch the big fights, but when they stand and trade I often find myself cringing at the lack of boxing skills, and when they roll around on the floor I wish they were standing and trading. So in the end, I wish I was watching boxing instead.

It's horses for courses, but i'd say MMA is more of a thing that guys in their late teens to early 20's love, but will eventually get bored with, only to be replaced with the next generation of late teens to early 20's

most big boxing fans will be fans for life.

MMA And boxing are 2 different sports... They could both exist and be appreciated for what they are. Im a fan of both... People need to stop comparing the two. Boxing does require more of a skill set due to the limited areas that the 2 combatants use. MMA requires knowledge in many areas such as wrestling, Judo, striking, kicking, Jiu jitsu etc..

MMA is an art just like boxing is an art. You think anyone could fight in MMA and compete? I'll say this.. Elite MMA fighters would get destroyed by Good boxers in a ring... Elite Boxers would get destroyed by Good MMA fighters in an octagon!

Quit catching feeling and comparing Boxing to MMA.. They're 2 different sports. It's like fast food... When people get hungry they go out and eat. Some people like going to the Pizza joint, some people enjoy burgers!

The last time I checked... Pizza hut and McDonalds are both successful establishments.
