Hello eastsiders! I'd like you to help me out with this.

I have been out of boxing for 8 or 9 months because of and injured thumb. In the meanwhile i started lifting and developed considerable mass. Anyway, i am thinking in boxing again, but i dont want to lose the mass i gained. Any advice?

To be honest I havent been boxing long enough and I dont know your style of boxing (brawler etc) but I DO know that Jun Fan (Bruce Lee) said he felt slower at 165lbs than at his preferred 135lbs. Something to consider. If it applies take if not pass it on to someone else. :hi:

 Of course you're going to be slower if you're bigger.

Eat enough and don't stop lifting. You don't really want mass though, it's more strength that you want if you want to be a good athlete.
