For me as of now Harrington is the clear women's p4p MVP of the Olympics.

Jalolov and Khyzhniak are neck-and-neck. If there still was such a thing as the Val Barker trophy it would feel like a shame for either to lose.

Khyzhniak was a deserved winner in a excellent and fiercely contested bout. He looks noticeably smaller than all these guys up at LHW but had there been a 4th round he would've likely stopped Nurbek because the later looked beaten up and out of gas.

Medal ceremony for Álvarez and Khyzhniak and their runners-up at 63.5kg and 80kg.

I was made up to see that they rewarded Cho Jungsook for her outstanding refereeing work in these games by giving her a finals gig in the previous bout.

Shout out to Susann Kopke because she's had a fantastic games as well

    Honourable mention

    Wade Peterson

    All A star refs

Sarah Ourahmoune, an Algerian-Frenchwoman who captured a silver medal at the Olympics in 2016 in Rio, is head of the Paris Boxing Unit and handing out the medals alongside the IOC rep.

    She's my age, looking good.

Sanford and sons seems pretty chuffed to be on the podium. Well done mate.

Yeah absolutely wild that Álvarez was the only Cuban to get a medal (and gold no less) with his pair of teammates favored in their weight classes to nab a third gold apiece.

Khyzhniak would have beaten Berlanga right now, in his pro debut. I have no doubt about it

Feels like it's taking longer to set up for the light heavyweight ceremony.

Eldric Samuel Sella Rodríguez (who's Venezuelan, not French ) replaces her for the 80kg presentation.

The same IOC member, Olvieda, remains.

We (GB), like Cuba, only won medal but the difference is we were robbed in almost all our losses. Can the mighty Cuba say the same?

So without the endemic anti-GB corruption in amateur and pro boxing too if we're being honest GB would be the #1 super power in amateur boxing
