Oh that's right - we're getting a rematch of China vs. Türkiye (like Chang vs. Akbaş) in Wu vs. Çakıroğlu at women's flyweight tomorrow.

They've made the North Korean gal squish in between the Chinese and South Korean for a group pic and she looks MISERABLE. :risas3:

Wishing she had a cyanide pill to bite down on.

Last two days of boxing at the Paris Olympics schedule:

Seven of the remaining eight gold medal bouts involve China (three women) or Uzbekistan (four men). Each country already has one gold medal this week; except those counts to increase by at least one more.

    Tomorrow's odds:

    Muydinkhujaev 4/7
    Verde 13/8

    Mullojonov 10/11
    Alfonso 5/4

    Wu 7/2
    Çakıroğlu 1/5

    Yang 9/2
    Khelif 1/8

Both of the Chinese women competing tomorrow are heavy underdogs, but Qian Li will box circles around the Panamanian on Saturday. Bylon had absolutely no business getting past Ngamba; it took some arch shenanigans for it to happen.

Khalokov was just pure class. The footwork. The movement. The fast hands. The experience of nearly 100 fights. Charlie gave it everything but he could fight that guy 10 times and not win once IMO.

Khaloko is a shoe-in for the gold medal IMO.

I'm surprised the bookies have Mullojonov-Alfonso as dead even. I think Lazibek should breeze through the Azerbaijani-Cuban.
