Actually you're wrong. Khelif failed the IBA's version of a "gender test" which just measures testosterone levels, and he didn't meet the arbitrary threshold set to be competition eligible. She's a Muslim woman from a not even remotely progressive region, and has lived as one her entire life in Algeria. There are family pictures of her from when she was a little girl.

All hanging in the balance - first round went the Uzbek's way and second the American's.

Point deducted from the Morrocan in the opening round. Four judges go 10-8 for the North Korean, the fifth goes 9-9 (meaning he awarded Bertal the round 10-9 before the point deduction)

They did an actual DNA test and found that he has XY chromosomes. Derek Chisora can put on a dress and claim to be a woman, but no amount of propaganda will convince me that Chisora is a woman.

Kremlev of the IBA - very much an unreliable narrator - claims they did a DNA test. Very much in doubt that's what actually happened. They probably just measured testosterone levels. Which again is a failed methodology because it doesn't account for a slew of different scenarios besides a person being trans (intersex spectrum, hyperandrogenism, etc)

Then why won't the IOC do any DNA tests? Why won't they do any testosterone test for boxers, which they regulate for many other sports in the Olympics?

Who says they didn't? They, and the Algerian boxing authorities, did their own investigation and ruled Khelif a female. Their word carries a lot more weight than IBA's.

Once more I ask you: do you think Algeria, which is devoutly Sunni Islam and firmly anti-LGBT, would allow Khelif to compete if biologically male?

30-27 x3, 29-28 x2, UD for Akbaş, guaranteeing herself at least a bronze medal with a berth in the semifinals.
