They stopped the boxing broadcast and are now airing athletics. I just googled this Marco Verde fella, and to my disappointment, he's in fact, not green.

Interesting to see Mexico get a medal in boxing, because they aren't renowned much for their amateur boxing.

Çakıroğlu and Kaivo-Oja both have that barking habit, and with their high pitched voices it sounds like a couple of young boys fighting over provenance of a toy.

    "nuh-UH!" "yuh-huh!"

Gonna be honest, I don't much care about this bout or the next three (another women's 50kg quarterfinal, and two women's 66kg quarterfinals) - but the finale of the Olympic boxing day is Kellie Harrington (IRL) vs. Beatriz Iasmin Soares Ferreira (BRA) in the women's 60kg semifinal and that is worth tuning in for.

On the contrary. They have shown more women's boxing than male.

    29-28 x3, 28-29, 27-30, SD for Villegas :aaaaa:

Excellent fight and deserved winner. That shutout card for Lkhadiri doesn't make any damn sense.

Chen pretty well in control, switch-hitting and setting traps with rear-hand overhands.
