1-2-3, double uppercut is a crazy five punch combo to hurl marching forward. Especially with none being arm punches.

What a performance from Khyzhniak! Left it all in the ring for that gold medal.

Nurbek has landed some bombs. Might have landed more power punches than he has in the whole tournament.

irrelevant. Khyzhniak has drilled through everything.

Wouldn't be the worst decision of the Games, but given the stakes it might sting the most.

A little concerned the judges have it close. Khyz beat his ass I thought.

Good effort from the Kazakh. He held it together better than I thought he would. Think they got the right winner though.

The Kazak did some good work in every round for me he was overwhelmed by the Ukrainian's relentless and pressure.

Nah definitely Ukrainian. There are some quasi famous actresses with the name, plus a captain of the Ukrainian army that was an early martyr of the Russian invasion in 2022.

So 30-27 x2, 29x28 then the canadian and american judge both had it 29x28 for the Kazak.

Had to actually pause it to make sense of which score to match to which as my eyes don't move fast enough fml.

    Very well deserved.

He was the form fighter in his prefered weight last Olympics and lost in heartbreaking circumstances.

He steps up in weight this time and shows he just one those characters who won't be denied, much like his professional compatriot in the heavyweight division.
