Mamedov is rushing in with his wrists glued to either side of his nose and whipping in body shots, but Davis is countering with left upper-hooks to split the guard, straight rights into the left temple and ear, and his own stiff body shots at point blank. Mamedov hurt, staggered, given a standing eight! They grind together again, Mamedov still throwing downstairs but with a drastically reduced output. Davis giving him a little bit of everything offensively and Mamedov goes down a few more times, but all slips.
