After listening to the BBC Boxing podcast end of year award show I think I'll add:

Newcomer (pundit) of the year
to Carl Frampton. He's been consistent ever since he moved from the ring to the microphone. Honest, insightful and not completely at the beck and call of whichever promoter is putting on the show.

Honourable mention to Steve Bunce who is doing an excellent job at anchoring the pod and comes over much better now he's toned it down tenfold.
