Len Harvey's, Doughty's book on Jock McAvoy and Bert Gilroy's are 3 excellent books about British Boxings elite fighters from that age of overall Boxing Greatness, great Human Interest storys too - very well written.

I really enjoyed "The Fighting Irish: Inside The Ring With Boxing's Celtic Warriors" by Roger Anderson. A great read. I got it when I spent a month in Ireland and couldn't put it down.
