If you want to have a good laugh then buy this book, it is full of hypocrisy and at times makes you just shake your head in dissbelief. He comes across as a nice bloke, very diplomatic and few bad words to say about anyone, an honest hard working man that will not shy away from ANY challange and will give it his all every time he steps into the ring. It sounds really great but its the complete opposite to what Danny Green is doing today.

Paul Briggs book was a tone better than Dannys dribble, Paul didnt hold back and gave some very grim storys, Dannys book was a fairytale that he is still living in today, Wake the fck up Danny! fight a real crusierweight you fake champion of Perth IBO

CHB wouldnt know his arse from his elbow so its not a suprize he enjoyed Dannys dribble and made no comparision of what Danny said back then and what he is doing today. Wonders if he actually read the book or just jacked off over the pics of Danny lol :hey

Just purchased Pacquiao's biography simply titled "Pacman". Haven't finished it yet but so far it's a really good read. A bit difficult to find but I managed to it at a specialist sports book store.

There certainly never been any doubt you're an absolute tosser Ty.

Danny Green would be absolutely delighted to know you took the time out to read his book too m8 - or did your mum have to read it to you?

Did you not find briggs became weak in his story at the time when he needed to be a destroyer?

Did green's book go into the mundine loss and if so what did he say?

Im still reading Greens book m8. And i think Briggs fizzled out a bit as thats his story, i enjoyed reading about his past and the fact he was so upfront and honest with telling his story. Greens book on the other hand is full of lies and backslapping. I will have another look today and check out what he says about mundine.

Tunney I will have a look next visit to the bookshop.

Who was the boxer that use to ride underneath trains and chew on bark to strengthen his jaw?

Fighters By Trade was a good book, can't remember who recommended it tho.

    Off topic a tad...

Mafia Enforcer by Cecil Kirby & Thomas Renner was a great read along with A Wayward Angel a good insight into the Hells Angels distructive lifestyle.

    Ahh yes page 114...

Dempsey had always loved to fight. "At the age of eleven." he later recalled, "I was preparing to be a prizefighter". From that time on, he'd bathed his face and hands in beef brine to toughen them up and chewed resin from pine trees in the belief that it would strengthen his jaw.

Tunney will be my next read.
