Are you looking for more books covering that era or just good books in general?

Any era is fine as long as it is well written.

Hands of Stone by Christian Giudice is a good little read if you wanna know a bit more about Duran.

I'm currently reading The Fearless Harry Greb which is also a great book so far.

There's loads of good books by Adam Pollack covering a fair few of the old timers.

There's so many good books out there though, i don't really know where to start!

I got a fair few and am actually reading The Four Kings myself atm, blowing ma brains.

King getting the ABC contract and leaving out Hagler etc, Hagler being 33 fights in ( i think ) when Leonard makes his debut.

Ma favourite would be one i got years back on Cuban boxing...In The Red Corner ( i think )

Have seen a ton of books here that people have mentioned that sound hell good, though i still have 2-3 books here unread before i make new purchases.

I was a little disappointed by Four Kings. Sorcery at Caesers is a better book.

'The greatest' by i think its richard durham was the 1st boxing book i read and still to this day i would read it from time to time. starts at the norton defeat then goes back to Alis childhood right up to the foreman fight. great stuff

The Don King book is a very insightful read ,written by Jack Newfield, it pulls no punches concerning the frizzy topped one.

The Black Lights by Thomas Hauser ,and Shadow Box by George Plimpton are good too.
