Dark Trade is a fantastic book, one of the best sporting books I've read. Bob Mee's book about Tiger Flowers is a really good interesting read about the old days.

Not long just read Tyson's autobiography, great read recommend it... crazy insight into how his mind works and why it works that way, he's led a mad life.

    Hattons isn't a bad read.

Four Kings is one of the best I've read.

Going to look at getting Jimmy Tibbs book next.

Aye that was an amazing account of Benny Lynch and how the reality of life was in Depression-era Gorbals.
If you liked that you would like John Burrowes other Glasgow novels the Jamesie's People.

I read it like 6 years ago, loved it. Very savvy book about life in those times, a sad story as well looking at what happened to Lynch. Cheers might give it a go sometime.

Aye you've read it. I'm telling you pal look up the rest of John Burrowes books and pick any one you want you won't be disappointed. And it doesn't matter where you come from because a gave a friend who is a Kiwi one of Burrowes novels "Irish" to send back home to his Da in New Zealand and he said it was so powerful he never read anything like it.

Mark Turley has got a great book out in September called "Journeymen" which as the title suggests is an insight into guys like Johnny Greaves, Jody Meikle etc..

Looks a cracking book, I've got it on preorder, it will be interesting to read about these lads experiences etc..

Joe Fraziers is a great book, he goes into how much he hates ail an what he really done to his family. How joe came from the cotten fields to where he got in life is just amazing.
