Last time I went to the training forum I had a load of American's telling me to get this gear that I couldn't find in the UK, just wanted an english view on things.

My boots are bog-standard Adidas ones. Usually just wear my running shoes anyway (though aint been to the gym in a little while myself to be honest, just doin training with fellow like-minded pals)

I got a few different pairs of gloves. Use 18oz Lonsdale sparring gloves I got from a local sports shop, bog-standard again, cost about 15 quid. However, help me increase my hand speed due to their size and are well-padded. Good for bag work as you really have to get your body into it, throwing arm punches in these things makes you feel like a super feather fist lol.

Have a pair of 8 oz Reyes as well, not worth taking them down the gym though. Usually wear 'em when I spar my mates, tell 'em they're crap gloves and make them wear my 10oz bag gloves :rofl

http://www.vipbe.co.uk - only stuff I use (and all the pro's I know use em too)

Best around IMO; and recently got some great reviews from BoxingCapital.
