Nah, I'd say go for some classic adidas ones. Go old school and get the high leg ones that at least go half way up your shin. Also adidas tyguns are pretty good. You can get them of ebay for around 35 quid

pacman wore them for a picture cuz his sponsors gave it to him. I got the Micheline everlast boot which is pretty good and lasted me a while. The price went down a bit since I got them, which is also a plus.

Um....Pac-Man wears Machomais in all his fights now. I have a pair of the lo-top Machomai, they're really good, light and great grip and high arch support, but higher top shoes suit my style more.

Well, I'm 6'4 and box at 75kg; so I'm much more of a long range boxer with a lot of movement. Because I move a lot I like to have higher shoes with a bit more ankle support. Though the Machomais are an exception to that rule; I do really quite like them, I just like my Adidas shoes more.

I use the Tygun II, the black and white. They're the favorite shoes that I've used. I have a buddy who has the High-Top Everlast Lockdown shoes, and he says they're really good. I'm thinking about a pair eventually myself; that or the Jordan hi-tops.
