Vic has a strange boxing stance which I think might actually help him with his sprawl. I dont mind seeing boxers try out MMA as long as they show it respect and go through the proper training.

I would love to see that. Vic is devastating at his weight unfortunately pretty much all of the featherweights are BJJ experts at that weight. Not to mention I think he is a bit too small.

The 115lbs division in MMA is hardly thriving.

If you read the article his dad was the armenian Olympic wrestling coach, and was trained in said sport for a very longtime. Im by no means saying this will make him an elite MMA fighter, but ATLEAST this guy has some sort of background. He may be small but he could certainly put a few kilos on, ive read before he bench's 130 kilos or something in training ( yes weights mean nothing) but he is certainly a strong little man.

So would he, and if he did he would almost always win. A MMA fighter with brains isn't going to box with him though, so if he actually is a good wrestler, he might be able to keep the opponent from getting the fight to the ground, but if he can't he as much at a disadvantage or more as the MMA fighter is trying to trade punches.

Interesting that he's been training in wrestling since he was young. I didn't know his dad was the Armenian wrestling coach.

He won't be up to scratch with his BJJ but the first thing is to learn the moves and use his wrestling to defend against them.

This did cross my mind. He has power but his technique can be questionable to say the least.

    vic's too small.

he should just stick to boxing and avenge his humiliating loss to donaire.

They only interviewed Vic because UFC is in Sydney this week and getting heavily promoted. I don't think it was serious he would jump to UFC.

BTW can't wait for Sunday, UFC getting huge in Australia.
