Boxing champ Vic Darchinyan wants to try MMA

It could be argued his hands are more suited to MMA than pure boxing. He stalks his prey like a vintage Liddell. Would be cool to see him in MMA particularly if he's wrestled some...

the same way a hatton MMA fight was discussed when the UFC was in britain.

this is how UFC hypes their events, attaching famous local boxers to their show.

 

This is probably going to kick up a shitstorm, but honestly even though it was effective for him as it was, Liddell could have stood to significantly improve his boxing as well.

Just because it was "good enough" doesn't mean it was great, or the best type of stand-up game by MMA standards.

 

Vic is arguably the most powerful puncher P4P in the world. He'd wreck alot of dudes in MMA. However, he'd soon find out that nobody cares about lighter weight fighters in MMA and one look at the paycheques he'd be earning in MMA, he'd quickly flee back to boxing.

Vic wont go to MMA.
