Wlad has finally won a rematch, the heavyweight division is unifying (partially), Calzaghe and Kessler are fighting each other...

All seems right with the world, for the moment.

yup. Rahman, byrd and ruiz losing their titles was also very very good.

Boxing is getting better this year. Anybody who says boxing is dying doesn't follow the sport. ESPN, SI, and Sportsline writers need to do fans all a favor and actually follow boxing before writing bull**** articles.

:good You are right. I get so sick of these sportwriters who dont cover boxing regurgitate the some old "boxing is dying" line. They are like trained monkeys.

I agree. It seems like over the last six months or so, boxing matchups have really improved.

Do we really care whether boxing is mainstream?

I would have been more happy if Brewster would have knocked out Wlad again. But all in alkl its getting better.

    Yes.

It will mean less PPV's and more big fights cause there will be more money offered.

The biggest PPVs of all time are the mainstream fights though. We might get more free mid-range cards though.
