I guess you could show old fights like ESPN Classics do + highlights of more recent stuff.Outside of that, don't start showing anything until 730pm like BBC3.Its just a pipe dream having a whole channel dedicated to boxing tbh
Yeah 24 hours is too much. Maybe they can collaborate with another sport (rugby, cricket etc..) and share slots.
Yeah Rugby can have 10pm-10am(other than live of course) when no ****er is watching.Rugby is best when nobody is watching
Well his Sports Direct adverts are popping up on Barry Hearn's Prizefighter shows. As an employee of them, thats incredibly rare. I have literally only seen them advertised at newcastle united (since he took them over) and on Prizefighter. Thinking of it, Ashley does have the look of a Boxing promoter about him. Most likely his uncanny resemblance to Mick Hennessy. New venture...
Hello to everybody. This is my first post on the forum. I cannot remember exactly when it was taken off air but there was a channel called 'The Fight Network' on Sky. It was originally the wrestling channel and gradually added other forms of combat sport. Granted it didn't show a lot of high profile fights but some of the Boxing and MMA cards it showed were okay. I've not seen amyone on this thread mention it. Perhaps if more people had tuned into this bigger and better cards might have eventually been shown. Just a thought.
"Fight Network" was on Setanta. TBH it was a mixed bag, pro wrestling MMA etc but it did have the odd decent bit of boxing.
Yeah Fight Network was okay but it had been repeating it's self since the beginning, there was the occasional okay card once a blue moon. They showed a couple shows "Warriors Boxing" and "Ballroom Boxing" as well, don't know how recent they were but it was basically up-and-comers. Didnt Nuts TV show boxing as well, a couple live fights and some KOTV classics etc.? does that even exist now?!
