Yep, 25. I'm not sure how long I'll rest inbetween, I ain't done it yet but when I try it tonight in the gym I'll see. Probably one minute.
very bad idea mate, this is a pretty high intensity plymetric exercise and plyo's are severely stressful on the tendons of the muscles being worked, your sets should rarely go beyond the level of failure, now unless you are a complete animal and can usually do 35 press ups with claps then 25 is ok as you will not be reaching the failure point, 4 circuits of this would leave the tendons around your chest in an extremely weakened state and susceptible to injury for a few days, id advise doing 10 and 10 normal press ups
I can do roughly 40 clapping press ups without stopping. The type of press ups that really strain my tendons are one aremd push ups, I struggle with them to be honest. I plan on mastering them soon though.
:scaredas:, this is a lot try advance it be doing a double clap or clap infront and a clap behind the back one armed push ups dont put half as much stress on teh tendons as plyo push ups
I can do well over 100 press ups. Then again I train in the gym for a good hour and a half before I start my execises near the end of the session and can never do as many of any excercise as normal after all that training. (I practice alot of exercises indoors) I'll start training in a few hours and I'll see. I always end up adapting my exercise circuts when I make them up.... when I have never actually put them into practice yet anyway. In regards to one armed push ups.... they mostly put all that pressure on my elbow areas rather than around my chest. That's what really makes them difficult for me to be honest.
