Would you guys like it if the commentators were ex boxers, trainers, instead of non ex boxers? Sometimes they can really mislead a novice as to what's really going on.

At the same note, some guys really do know their stuff so there's pluses and minuses both ways.

Paulie Malignaggi never stops talking but he tells it like it is, he'll be good.

Lampley needs to be fired, he's WAY off with his assessments of fights. It's hilarious, sometimes he's talking about how well one fighter is doing while that very fighter is in the process of taking a bunch of clean shots. :bart

Sometimes it's like watching a baseball or football game and you know the broadcaster never played but yet is assessing something that he hasn't done or can't do. I understand they have a job to do and got their degree in that field, but I just think it gives much more credibility if Tarver asesses something or RJJ or Barerra because they've lived it and we know Lampley and Merchant haven't. I dont know if Bernstein has fought or trained before but he seems to be on point.
