Cheers for all your help people :)

last favour - can anyone give me a very simple description of the Margarito loaded gloves incident? IE, exactly what he was accused of, and what became of it

    Simple explanation:
During the pre-fight preparations in the dressing room prior to the fight, Shane Mosley's trainer Nazim Richardson was on hand to witness Margarito's hands being wrapped. Apparently they were already wrapped before he got there and he demanded that they be wrapped again with him supervising (as is his right as a member of the opposing team).
He then noticed something unusually hard beneath the wraps. When team Maragarito were forced to unwrap, illegal pads were found in the knuckles.
Apparently they were wet with a foreign substance on them, and were allegedly blood stained too.
The pads were taken by an official, sealed in a bag and taken away for further analysis/inspection.

After the investigation was carried out, a panel from the California State Athletic Commission voted unanimously to revoke the license of Margarito's trainer, Javier Capetillo, who had been responsible for placing the inserts in the wraps, and banned Margarito from competing in the USA for a year.
Though Capetillo claimed he made a mistake simply by reaching for the wrong pads in his equipment bag, both he and Margarito claim Margarito had no knowledge of the inserted pads in his handwraps.

Oh, and speaking of the Margarito incident and boxing conspiracies, how can we not mention the Billy Collins-Luis Resto incident? One of the most galling, despicable things in the history of the sport.
