I read elsewhere that Lennox Lewis was afraid to fight Vitali in a rematch

 

a theory I have, is that Evander Holyfield faked his performance loss against Larry Donald and only landed about 15 punches in the whole 12 round fight on purpose, to trick Tyson's camp into thinking that Holyfield is "over the hill" , to try to get Tyson into fighting him for the 3rd time.

I remember, after the fight, Larry Merchant asked Holyfield, "Evander, WHY ON EARTH ARE YOU STILL FIGHTING!!!!
Evander just smiled and didn't answer. So, Merchant asked Don King, whom was standing next to Holyfield, and Don just changed the subject each time Larry asked.

Tyson didn't buy Holyfield's fake performance cause Tyson knew Holyfield was playing possum,, so Tyson didn't accept a 3rd fight with Holyfield and didn't risk losing again to the PEDs-Holyfield.

 

UFC/MMA wants to put boxing out of business.

That's why UFC President-Dana White became a boxing promoter, to try to monopolize boxing and try to sweep boxing "under the rug", so he can promote his UFC/MMA much higher.

This isn't a conspiracy as such, but I attended a few open poetry evenings when I was in Alabama a few years back, and the local star turn was a giant of a man who went by the stage name Weontay Dilder. He had a unique, syncopated style built around alliteration and stark imagery. I didn't really understand his poems, I'm not so smart, but I recorded one on my phone:
