    Money.

    It's pretty simple.

Same reason GGG wanted to face Chavez.

    For Money.

Honestly, GGG should clean out the division before facing Ward, but he's right that nobody will fight him.

Maybe Canelo will fight him, but I doubt his handlers will let him.

That would be a great fight though.

Maybe Cotto will fight GGG, but I doubt it. If you were Cotto, would you fight GGG?

I agree that Cotto isn't a real Middleweight, but he has the title. So at the end of the day, his job is to fight GGG.

If Cotto doesn't fight GGG, he needs to drop the belt, especially if he's not a "real middleweight."

If he's not a real middleweight, he needs to stop pretending to be one.

Also, Ward would probably beat GGG. But GGG would stop Cotto.

Canelo is a tough fight. I think Quillin is a tough fight too.

There are good fights for GGG at middleweight, but they need to just get their ass in the ring with the guy and fight him.

Floyd and Pacquaio aren't pretending to be middleweights.

    Cotto IS.

In fact, Cotto has the strap.

So he either needs to relinquish the strap and go down a division or he needs to fight GGG.

    He is obviously ducking.

If he's not a middleweight, stop fighting at middleweight.

    Understand???

Question: if GGG is prepared to go up and fight Ward, would Ward even take the fight? At the moment he doesn't seem to be interested in fighting anyone. After winning the super 6 he seems to have gone into shutdown mode.

GGG could fight anyone at 168.

If he fought a chump at 168 and said he did it to put 168 on notice that he's willing to fight hwoever if the money is right I would respect it.

Canelo doesn't fight at JMW anymore thus he is technically already a MW.

Next post you bring up ward who will have his next fight at LHW.

Sorry dude your thread is ****.

Golovkin is full of hot air with his fight anyone from 154 - 168. It's just **** talking. Him and Able should have never even put that out there. Canelo is the money man between the two. He is also still only 24. If you want a piece of Canelo, go down to 154 and fight him. Or wait until he reaches his prime in 2 or 3 years, and moves up to your weight class. Golovkin is clearly full of ****. He will only move up to 168 for fights he deems easy, i.e. the bum Chavez Jr, or semi retired Froch. There are guys at 168 who would be his toughest opponent to date, and give him real big drama. He doesn't want any part of them though.

Canelo is a big 24 year old LMW who barely makes weight - he is naturally expected to move up. GGG is 34 years old and not a big MW. It's not a contradiction at all.

Let's get the facts right here Canelo is a middle weight he has not fought at 154lbs in almost 2 years and come into the ring heavier than Golovkin.

Canelo fights at 155 Golovkin will probably end up fighting him at 157 or 158.

Looking at recent re-hydrated weights canelo re-hydrates to around the same weight as what GGG does, the only difference is how much the de-hydrate - canelo doing so to get into a lower division, and even it seems (going by his last 3 fights) as if hes finding it difficult
