    Guillermo Rigondeaux ...

    Since defeating previously top 5 Ring Magazin P4P Nonito Donaire ... and becoming the owner of the Ring Magazin Champion Status, but also being the WBA and WBO linear champ of the world it is notorious that nobody is willing to fight him ... Nobody would like to be WBA or WBO champion, nobody wants the recognition ... no men calling him out! .... there is only a silent respect in the air !!!

    Ironically Donaire is doing to Rigo - what Vic done to him.

    Donaire is onwards and upwards, continuing to be a part of exciting fights.

    Avoided?By whom-other than the broadcasters. He wants to be paid big bucks but he has no PAYING fan base and makes for predictable fights. He has to perform to a higher level in excitement before I would pay to see him.Skilled-very but exciting to watch-NO!

    Guillermo is a wizard on the level of Floyd and Ward only.

    I don't expect anyone to want to fight him willingly anytime soon, except hardened warriors such as Marroquin.

    :lol::rofl:patsch

    Nobody is avoiding him. TV won't put him on so there is no $$$$$$ in fighting him.

    This is one of the worst fail threads I have seen posted on here :lol::lol::lol:

    The most G thing I've seen in sports lately was when WBO(?)/WBA went into his dressing room to talk about the $50.000 he was to punt up for holding the belt, and he was telling them off :rofl

    Skills or not his style is boring and no network is interested in putting him on.

    That is great and all but the tv networks don't want to waste their time with the guy. Several articles have been written why. Such as Rigo having zero fanbase, a boring cautious style, not speaking english and not even wanting to, and a fight with him is going to lose money.

    It is what it is. He could help his cause by being just a little more aggressive and throwing an extra 15 punches a round. Nobody is asking him to be a face first brawler (he can't because his Chin is awful) just a little more competitive. When people watch the lower weight classes they want to see action and excitement not a guy circle the ring with his back to the ropes and throwing 22 punches a round at Junior Featherweight :rofl

    He does seem to have a glass jaw.

    I personally loved every minute of him mincing Donaire, making Nonito look like a subpar boxer, when in reality, he's not.

    Well I have to say that Rigo talks what he has to talk and that is pure boxing in the ring. In spanish he is also entertaining and concise and talks better than more of his english speaking colleagues. He is as skilled as Floyd is (and there are many who consider him even better), and boxing for me is about fair game, and when anybody is not considering him for any top fight in the 122, then those are not considered for me as representing boxing interest, not favouring the Fairness of the game ...

    :hi:

    But the others are just pissing in their pants when only hearing his Name!

    It´s a shame that people settle with watching low level boxers beating each other into a pulp rather then watching a superior talent. He beats one of the most feared fighters in the lower weight classes and gets totally screwed over. He should consider changing promoters as fast as he can.
