    This is what is ruining the sport. ***s like Nathan Cleverly claiming to be world champion. How the **** is he the champion of the world when hes not fought Ward or Dawson or even Hopkins its a ****ing joke champion of the world my arse ****ing paper belt!

    Why the **** are you picking on Cleverly , and why would he fight Ward, Ward is the greatest Super Middle on Earth, Cleverly is a different weight class FFS at light heavy!

    Yeah, that's right. I do agree it's declined but boxing always has periods where it's not thriving. If you think back to the 90s/early 2000s, that was a real boom period for the sport with fighters like Tyson, De La Hoya, Trinidad etc., still prominent draws. So whilst boxing isn't at it's best right now, I'm always optimistic that a star could be born at any time, who'll bring the sport back to the back pages.

    The next Mayweather, Tyson, Pacquiao, De La Hoya, Leonard, Ali, Dempsey, Louis etc., will be out there somewhere and when he wins a world title, he'll be a major star. That's why boxing is safe, because it's a sport which always grabs the publics attention when a new star arrives.

    The sport might not be at the levels it was during the Tyson days but it won't disappear any time soon.

    Cleverly will prove his critics wrong one day

    He is as young and inexperienced as many prospects are yet has held wbo,European,commonwealth and British titles

    He has never come close to being beaten or even pushed and has beaten
    Decent opposition In bellew,Murat,krasniqi,kuziemski and mcintosh

    He will become world class people pick on him unfairly

    If you were wbo champion would you walk around saying 'I'm not a real world champ' no you wouldn't would you

    What I'm saying mate is you shouldn't have the right to say your the world champ when your not. I'm saying join all the organisations into one group and have 1 champion of the world. You know like other sports. Tiger Woods is number 1 at golf no one else it works!

    The sport is in incredible shape for the hardcore fan. We have all kinds of quality fighters. For the casual fan there is noone but who gives a **** about the casual fans.

    Soon Paul Smith or Tony Dobson will be British champion when you have Carl Froch whos not British champion! Wheres the logic in that? Someone explain? The sports a joke but we can improve it by stoping the ****ing paper belts!

    Are you taking the ****? The bellew fight was extremely close, most people thought cleverly lost that, plus he got away with landing about 30 low blows which slowed Bellew down. Even if you had Cleverly winning you cannot deny that fight was very close.

    Did the sheep shager even fight for the paper belt? Bellew fight was a draw in my eyes! But if boxing was a real sport Bellew would be number 7 in the world and Cleverly number 20. But of course Cleverlys got his paper belt hes champion of the world. Its a joke.
