In every case depends on the opposition, Linares had reach and hand speed advantages over Loma plus power, Jones never faced that, the first quality fighter he fought with a reach advantage was Tarver and Jones couldn`t deal with Tarver`s long jab, Hill`s reach was good but he wasn`t as god as Tarver, Antonio was the only puncher Jones faced aside from Hopkins who Jones fought very negative against and Toney who didn`t have the KO ratio of Tarver.

This reads like something a madman would type

Rocchigiani took so many hits to the face he looked like an Ogre after his career was wrapped up. Letting guys pound your own mitts into your face isn't good defense.
Dariuz had the high guard but would also slip , parry and dodge punches. How does a fight at the end of his reign reflect upon a whole career ?

I was looking through my alerts quickly and had just finished answering a reply about my thread about Loma being the best counter puncher of all-time, sorry about the mix but I feel Linares would have destroyed Camacho with his power, his combo`s are like Camacho`s with power, I feel Linares would of done much better against Rosario than Camacho did and Loma would have given Camacho a far worse beating than he gave Linares, because Hector wouldn`t have had the power to keep Loma off and that body shot would have finished almost anyone. Camacho didn`t beat any opponent better than Loma did, in fact I feel Rigo would have beaten Camacho at lightweight or super feather.

Eubank was dreadful when coming forwards but he did lead a lot and all Rocchigiani was doing was covering his head and not throwing much at all, he should have cut the ring off on Eubank, Collins landed far more punches on Eubank than Rocc did.

Eubank took Rocchigiani to school in his back yard .one of his best performances.

Did someone say Loma would have beaten Camacho at lightweight???
Camacho would have beaten the hell out of Loma-Camacho way tooo fast and his lateral movement too much .
And i love Linares but Rosario knocks him out .

The european style high guard looks very stiff and un elegant but is effective especially for fighters who are not athletic but just strong and tough.

Loma`s movement is far better than Camacho`s.

No it isnt. Its more skilful but have you ever seen a PRIME Camacho?
    Hes too fast for Loma.
And in his prime he would let his hands go

No way Collins punched Eubank all around the ring in their 2nd fight, Eubank even admitted that he lost.

    Edwards w
Edwards would be no problem for Loma, Limon was very slow and Paz and Haugen wouldn`t land a glove on Loma. Camacho`s lousey footwork was the reason Chavez cut the ring off on him and Loma would do the same, Camacho didn`t punch any where near as hard as Linares and would be too scared of Loma`s counters to be as active as Linares was, Camacho couldn`t adapt or study an opponent the way Linares studied Loma, Camacho had a far lower fight IQ than Loma and was dreadful at light welter where if Loma ever moved up he would be far superior than Camacho ever was at that weight.

Loma had better defensive moves than anyone Camacho ever faced.

Sorry, but Rigo would beat Camacho in his prime at feather or super feather anyway, Camacho had too many flaws.
