That's what I'm asking. Surely food is a fundamental component of anything called 'dinner'? So what food is dished out?
Are these things value for money? I'd be interested in hearing a number of boxers speak but if they don't really say much and just want to pile you with drink so that you spend stupid amounts on some tat being auctioned off, I'd rather not bother.
funniest was the joe frazier one it was at a working mans club in doncaster and the food was a buffet
The ones I've been to the food has been OK but no better than that. If you are going primarily for something to eat then I wouldn't bother TBH.
As most of them are held in working mens clubs/civic halls etc I wouldnt hold much hope for Michellin Star'd food, something like a curry or chicken in a basket I'd imagine. I think Lee Nightingale has ripped off PK too
was Mash and some pork IIRC, and i had cheese and biscuits for dessert, was a quality evening in all mate:good
Just curious. I hope to attend one at some point for sure, that Barerra one you went to sounded great.
There's money to be made if some of these advertised better. I'd be prepared to travel up to 60 mile to go to a decent one.
