    Many say the Mayweathers are the top notch boxing family. I think the Spinks are better overall.

    Well, if you count their training careers, the Mayweathers definately come out on top. Even just counting their pro careers, I still favor the Mayweathers. I would give Michael the edge over Roger, Lil Floyd trumps Corey, and the Big Floyd, Jeff combo trumps Leon. Both the families have two legit champions. However, Jeff and Big Floyd were solid contenders while Leon was a one hit wonder.

    The Spinks have 3 legit champions. I don't count their training careers. Why are you comparing two Mayweathers to one Spinks? I think Leon trumps Big Floyd, crushes him actually since Floyd Sr beat absolutely no one. I think Michael easily trumps Roger (who is also a great fighter), and PBF is better than Corey, who in his own right is a good fighter. Jeff doesn't even get a mention at this point.

    It's 4 to 3, you have to count everyone. If my family had 8 pro boxers, yours only had 2, I could make an argument that I have the better boxing family based off numbers alone. And sorry, Leon does not crush Big Floyd(although I will give him the edge over Floyd). Once you add in Jeff, the Mayweathers have an advantage.
