Or you could just take the average if you want to look at it that way. Seems to me that a family could be considered the greatest boxing family ever simply by having alot of average fighters in a large family. I don't think that's the way it should be judged.

I certainly think winning the HW title and fighting for other major titles crush what Floyd Sr did. Badly in fact. He was a contender who never beat anyone of any note and never even received a title shot. That doesn't compare to beating Muhammed Ali.

And Jeff has done absolutely nothing as well. Never fought for a title or beaten anyone. So adding together two fighters who have done nothing to a former HW champion, no matter how short lived, the champion comes out on top.

Leon was one hit wonder with marginal talent. He somehow got a title shot he didn't even deserve against a fading champion and got lucky. There's a reason Leon works at Micky D's these days. :deal

He also got 2 more titles shots, one at HW and one at CW. His talent may be marginal, but like I said, he did more than Floyd Sr and Jeff Mayweather did, which is absolutely nothing. Training is a different story.

Didn't he get knocked the **** out in both of those title fights? And I believe was an IBO champion

    Not sure honestly.....

But again, Floyd Sr and Jeff never got title shots at all, and neither as far as I can tell even beat highly rated contenders.

Oh I think you are sure. Holmes put him to sleep in the 3rd. It took Qawi 6 rounds to get the job done. Now Leon flips burgers for a living. That's what happens when you, relatively speaking, don't have much talent.

Well you thought wrong. I wasn't sure and didn't feel like going up to boxrec to find out. Mayweather was stopped as well, both of them.

Even being KO'd in title fights is better than never getting one IMO. And winning the HW title in a huge upset is still better than never getting a title shot.

Answer this question for me. What's better; training world champs after your career is over, or serving McFlurries to 16 year olds?
