Boxing fans and intangibles. Case in point, Hatton v Castillo.

    It seems odd that such topics are chosen.

    Why does a fighter lose?

    How much does it have to do with age?

    What about wear and tear?

    How much did Ricky Hatton have to do with his own victory? (this is a way in which a fan may word the question)

    It is in human nature to debate the odd hypothetical scenario from time to time - sometimes these examples are purposefully obscure for the sake of methodology.

    A boxing match of this nature would seem to me to be reality however, and surely I am not the only one who finds these whole arguments utterly asinine?

    Questions that relate to such blatant intangibles are an embarrassment to the sport of boxing.

    They are akin to religious debate.
