Boxing fans are why boxing (in the USA) is going downhill...

    Obviously you need to do a little research. Wlad does mass charity work and is in fact a loved celebrity around the world. Let me rephrase that for you... the USA isn't the world, jackass. I live in the USA, only I realize that most of the boxing fans in the USA (that post on ESB)... are just horrible boxing fans. They are much more into brawling than they are into boxing. I love a good brawl too... that's why I enjoy watching street fights... I love MMA too.... however I also understand that boxing is a completely different sport. If you are only into boxing for the fighters who lack technical ability so they eat 300 punches to try and get theirs in... then you aren't a true boxing fan. You are just a fan of a few different boxers. I actually enjoy a masterful boxing performance... even when it doesn't end in a knockout. Let alone when it ends in a brutal 12th round knockout. Wlad has knocked out and/or dominated every opponent since his title fight with Chris Byrd for the IBF... so obviously what he is doing is working perfectly. There is no need for him to change his style for a handful or morons who don't understand or respect what he is actually doing in there.

    Really? Because I have seen them throw many more than three. Does Wlad use 3 punches much more than everything else? Yes. Why? Because he can.

    It's not just Klitschko, it's his opponent. Chambers just can't really fight that good.

    That's all there is to it. Did you see the guy against Povetkin?

    And what's Povetkin? He's a guy that comes foward in straight lines, doesn't move his head, stands straight up, doesn't punch hard, and gets hit easily.

    This is the guy that beat Chambers.

    Wrong Widdow. It's not the fans, it's the boxers, the promoters, and the cable networks. For too long they stayed with a structure that allowed them to get very wealthy, but as time went by, more boxers and promoters tried to join. Too many PPV's, too much money to main events which leaves little for a good under card. GPB and Top rank recently had had atrocious undercards. HBO being in bed with GBP keeps any sort of competition to put on great shows. Similar to a fighter like Jones who was a guarantee on HBO and didn't need to face top comp for the payday. The fans are the ones being driven away.

    Yeah I guess I'll be a casual fan and only get excited about the lower weight classes where all the talent is and when someone has a heavy bag in front of them they unload on it.

    Yeah... unlike David Haye. Stepped up only once against a good fighter in the Heavyweight division... put on what you would have to consider a "boring performance".... did much worse against Valuev than even old Evander Holyfield did. Yet... I bet you love him. :rofl I bet that he is just exciting as hell to you.:yep I mean... David Haye has put together such an amazing resume of destroying top Heavyweights.
