Boxing fans are why boxing (in the USA) is going downhill...

Steward may have made him a better boxer, but Wlad was much more entertaining a decade ago.

Why are you bringing up Floyd in a thread about Wlad? Some of Floyd's fights are boring and many of them are one-sided. However, he makes a great effort to market himself and he's taking on fighters that people believe can beat him. At the end of the day though, he still gets highly criticised for being boring and not taking on stong enough comp.

It's fairly obvious why Reg. There is a legit comparison. Both highly skilled safety first fighters. Relax.

Well sad thing is I AM a boxing fan and I do watch that big jerkoff and his brother fight BUT as a true boxing fan that has a right to speak his mind and not just blindly kiss a fighters ass will speak my mind and "talk ****" about the Klitschko's.

Wlad could have easily had Chambers out of there in the first three rounds but guess what??? Wlad fought like he was the 6'1 209 blown up cruiserweight with no power in against the 6'6 244 pound monster with speed and power and skills.

It puts a knot in my stomach watching this ****** just jab over and over again even while his trainer is telling him to get his man outta there. Mike Tyson was so much better then everyone he fought but atleast he tried to get them out of there from the start of the fight.

Yeah they got a highlight on youtube of him unleashing a hellish combo on some dude.

He could have down that against chambers at anytime. Hell the first clean punch he landed had Chambers shakin.

Some fighters will just never please some people who just love the sound of themselves bitching.

Mayweather for example. I'm no ***** because I objectively criticize alot about what the guy says and does too much to ever be mistaken for one. He FINALLY accepts a fight against a truly legitimate fighter at 147 and all i here is bitching that he cherrypicked an old man(who not long ago he was scared of) and if he beats him he'll boringly outbox him. What?! That's what the guy specializes in so wtf is wrong with that? He'll get flack for 'running' even though he's not a brawler he boxes...and he'll barely get hit and he'll be called scared or boring

Pac gets heat AFTER he excels in beating guys that haters said would hand him his ass. The guy was 'too scared', 'weight drained', 'shot', 'overrated', 'homesick', 'wasn't wearing his lucky socks' and a whole host of other ridiculous criticism. And opposite to mayweather you'll say Pac 'got hit too much' even though his style is to be a whirlwind aggressor

Then you have the Wladimir Klitschko who scraped his career off the canvas after devastating defeats at the hands of Sanders and Brewster. He found a style and trainer who work for him and keeps winning in easy fashion. He gets labled boring but those same haters will kick him when he's down should he lose. There are some he will NEVER please unless he dies and that's classless and sad.

It's disrespectful to put Klitschko in same category as Mayweather. Mayweather actually has defensive skills that many people appreciate, while Wlad just wants to create distant because of his weak chin. He doesn't have great defense he has great size and because of that, his opponents can't get near him. When they do get close, he holds on for dear life. Mayweather does all types of things with his defense and he even varies his offense up every now and then, while Klitschko is just jab, jab, jab all night.

Fact is that if Wlad fought like he did pre Corrie Sanders he'd be more liked and a bigger star in america.

AND if he fought the same way he did now his whole career he'd have ALOT less fans then he does now.

Difference is Floyd is either the same size or smaller then his opponents(besides Marquez I'll give you that) and doesnt have the crushing power to knock his opponents out easily. Wlad does. Wlad shouldn't be fighting the way he does with all his tools. Same goes for someone like Hopkins.

I didn't think the fight was boring, it had tension, and had a good-to-great KO.. a legit KO at that.

I'd admit the dude is frustrating though, because he's so skilled and dominate that he should take guys out quicker but doesn't.

I think too many get hung up on that, and watch the fight with bias.

I mean ****, did you all watch Banks vs Walker? That was some awful ****.
