That's just it. Wlad does destroy these guys. They aren't bums either. They are his top contenders and only look like bums because he is so good. Dominating someone for an entire fight and then knocking them out is destroying them.

Eddie chambers aint even a real heavyweight. He's a crusierweight. 6'1 barely 210. Wlad has 40lbs and 5 inches and who knows how big advantage in reach.

When you hold that type of advantage over an opponent, you blast him out. You dont paw jab him for 12 rounds, and then throw a hook when you feel like it.

Heavyweights are about excitement. Same reason nobody liked Holmes in the 80's. Technically brilliant as the klits and holmes were, people wanna see viciousness in their heavies.

This jab and wear down your opponent has been used by other champions before Klitschko was even born. It's nothing new. Larry Holmes jabbed them to death, Ali jabbed them to death, Lewis jabbed them to death. I'm not a fan of that particular style either. People watch a heavyweight boxing championship fight to see the pyrotechnics, the big explosions, the Rocky-esque displays of intestinal fortitude. They don't want to watch a professional master craftsman ply his trade by systemically dismantling his opponents. I think Klitschko is a great fighter and he performed superbly vs Chambers but watching water wear a hole through concrete just isn't as fun as smashing it to bits with a sledgehammer.

Also, I have to question if Pacquiao received the same kind of criticism following the Clottey fight. I suspect that there's a bit of tradition weight class bias in boxing. You can follow the papertrail that says heavyweights are pathectic as far back as you want to. This isn't anything new. I guess heavyweights are held to a higher standard.

You guys act like Wlad is 10 feet tall, 500 lbs. Yeah, he has a size advantage. That didn't stop Chambers from beating his last opponent. Chambers is a proven heavyweight. If Chambers is just a cruiserweight, than so was Ali. Chambers has already proven himself against Sam Peter, Alexander Dimitrenko, Povetkin, and Calvin Brock. Chambers is much more proven at heavyweight than David Haye is. I wouldn't be surprised to see Chambers beat Haye for that matter.

Widdow see my new thread man!:good Weve had some good debates n the past

Anyways, I think that its more of a culture thing...when boxing is thought of in American ITS MORE ABOUT "ORDERING A PPV AND HAVING A FIGHT PARTY"...We don't really attend boxing as much as say, even baseball....I believe (sorry if i'm wrong) in your culture when you hear about fights (ESPECIALLY THOSE AS FAMOUS AS THE KLITCHKOS IN EUROPE/ASIA) its more of a "LETS HIT UP THE KLITCHKO FIGHT IN MARCH AND WE'LL GET FU34ED UP WHEN WE GET THERE"...

I respect what your saying though..Boxing is not once what it was years and years ago...We don't have it like the Ali era anymore..boxing is not televised on USA or TNT or ABC anymore....

congrads on Wlad's win!:good Just 2 fighters left and they'll have cleaned out the division

These fights might be fun to watch but I doubt any of the above mentioned people are capable of beating Wlad.

I'd like to see Wlad fight Haye, Adamek, Povetkin, Valuev, Ruiz, Tua and even a healthy Golota.

Yet Wladimir's knockout ratio is higher than Mike Tyson's. Funny that you make that comparison. Instead of watching his highlight reels... try watching all of Tyson's fights. I have... and there were many a fight where Tyson couldn't get a much lesser opponent than Eddie Chambers out of there. He would do a lot of hugging, and holding... one punch at a time... boring fights. It isn't like Mike Tyson just blitzed everyone that he fought for the full 12 rounds or something. I loved Tyson too, trust me... my earth was shattered when he got beat by Douglas. Not only that... but we are talking about two completely different fighters. Wlad has to use his height to his advantage, because if he don't... it becomes a huge disadvantage. Just as Tyson used his short size to his advantage. Once he stopped doing that... it became a huge disadvantage. If you are taller, bigger... it is best to fight more reserved... taller.... using an ass load of jabs to control the range, ect... You can't go out there and bob and weave like Tyson because you make yourself too big of a target and the punches are coming right up under your chin. Tyson however.... with his shorter size... made himself an extremely hard target to hit as he covered, and used his great head movement. This is because his opponents had to punch down at him, and he was able to get in underneath of them which his stature helped him to do. As soon as Tyson fell in love with his power, stopped his movement, and just stood directly in front of his opponents.... he became ordinary. That's just the way it is.

Trust me... if someone like Gatti could have got away with fighting like Wladimir Klitschko... dominating and stopping his opponents in the process. He would have done it.
