freddie roach makes a good point. he said that if you study the tapes of fights he had after paul williams in particular, it becomes evident margarito cheated knowingly. it would obviously help if you knew spanish because you'd be able to interpret every word and every meaning. roach says capetillo says things like, "how's the punch," with margarito responding, "good." so if boxing fans no longer want to be in the dark about whether margarito and capetillo cheated or not, they need to sit and watch a few of margarito's fights before, after and including the paul williams fight, and getting all of the questionable exchanges between the two down on paper, then posting them up and seeing what boxing fans believe.:good:good:good

    THIS IS IT BOXING FANS!!!!

this is how we find out on or own.

If I knew spanish good enough I would sit down and do it right now. I dont start my new job until tomorrow so I have the time. I'll tell you what. the first guy who sits down and completes this task would be doing the fight game a huge favor and would also be worthy of praise.

someone please get it done, this is foolproof. evidence is what we need, and the tapes are either going to provide it or not.

What exactly does Capetillo say in Spanish?? HBO translators usually dont do very well.
What fight and what round was it in? I can give you the actual translation.

Thats easy then. He is asking him how Cotto punches.

From the grammar in that statement it is not asking how he is punching he is asking how the other guy is punching.
So basically what Freddy said. How is Cotto's punch.

there is no possessive in that spanish phrase. It could be either way. How does the hit feel?

I still think it could go either way. If he said su or tu before instead of la it would be a whole lot clearer.

De verdad es mucho mas mejor yo no escrivo in espanol. Hai mucho tiempo sin hablar asi, pero pienso ahorra entiendo mas o menos todo. Claro, no como freddy-wak, estoy puro gringo, pero me esposa (ex) es muy mexicana.

I think a case could unfortunately be made either way.

some puerto ricans even made a big deal about when margo said "manopla"...which here on the westcoast and pretty much in any latin country "manopla" means mitt (mitt work)....but on the video it says he means ARMORED GLOVE :rofl:rofl:rofl
