I'm disappointed the fight wont be happening, it really looked like it was shaping up to be a good one today, but i don't blame Bellew. He jumped at the chance put on the fight, which us as fans all wanted, gave getting down the weight his best shot, and then even came on here to explain what happened to us. Can't fault him. Just hope it happens later on in the year, if Tony looks good in his rematch in July it could be built up really big.

Aye funny how some can turn a negative into a far more prosperous future positive! Thats what good promoters do though. And for the stick he gets, lets face it if your son was a fighter which British promoter whould u want to see him with?! Certainly not fat mick lol

Bellew shouldn't be the patsy for this though, that's not right.

he didnt weigh a stone over you idiot. i dont know where you got that bit of info from. he weighed 13st 1lb. the limit for the weight is 12st 7lb so i think he weighed about 3lbs over the check weight limit. of course it was a push and tony knew it would be hard to shift it but hes a man and he really, truly wanted...WANTS... that fight! dont nobody think for one second that tony never wanted the fight or that he knew he wouldnt make it.
