What's wrong with you? Claiming the actions of certain fighters are justifiable because they have more star power is absurd. Being concerned about fighters you like making "good business moves" when they're already multimillionaires is a very new and very sad thing in boxing. Do you think you'll be invited over for a BBQ at said fighters second mansion? The only thing YOU AS A FAN consume is quality boxing. If a fighter does not produce that as they can/should, why do you defend them? Boxing isn't a f****** reality TV show. Stop trying to live vicariously through fighters, and follow the sport for what it should be. Better yet, go to your local gym and try training.
"it's business" is something that fans shouldnt be involved in. floyd can make more money fighting a debutant than another fighter in the division. thats sort of off to me. i get you.
i will add that if fans accept the stalling then it becomes acceptable, ruining grinding the rest of the division to a halt.
It's funny how Golovkin fans pick and choose whent o focus on money. When it's GGG/Ward 50/50?! ARE YOU CRAZY when they do the around the same HBO numbers LOL. When it comes to Canelo/GGG, they're asking for 55/45 LOL and telling people not to focus on money.
It's mostly Floyd fans. They work at McDonalds or Burger King so they live vicariously through him and act like it's their own money :rofl
I don't care about money in any instance. Golovkin and Ward are now two divisions apart which speaks to their difference in size. If Golovkin wants to make a historic mark in his natural weight class in lieu of moving up to 168 to fight a very highly skilled and big 168 guy, I don't see a problem. Citing a largely promotional sound bite of "anyone 154 to 168" isn't enough to accuse him of ducking. For the record, I'm a big fan of both fighters and have made plenty of threads defending Andre Ward. However, "fans" who talk about money splits, A side this, B side that, what are you? Wannabe accountants? What aspect of the sport is most attractive to you? It doesn't seem like the sweet science is.
Not sure what you're getting at. If Golovkin went up to 168 to fight Chavez Jr. I would criticize him. It's a pointless fight, plain and simple. Froch has been retired for years.
u obviously missed the point...when someone was referencing ggg/ward they were talking about summer/end of 2015...at that time ward had fought 95 percent of his career fights at 168.......people arent talking about 50/50 now or going forward...they are talking 2015....but for some reason you are taking it as current day present..... ggg fans said ward brought no money or relevance..he didnt sell...and thats why ggg didnt wanna fight him in 2015....yet now they dont care about who brings what money or money at all...they were worried about wards monetary demands sAYING "oh ward is the clear b-side he needs to take smaller split" and you said ward was too big for ggg...yet ggg pursued fights with chavez and froch who are as big , if not bigger, than ward
This post is unintelligible. I think it's best for both of us if we don't engage each other in any manner henceforth. Please work on stringing together coherent sentences and using at least middle school grammar.
