Boxing also isn't about proving who is toughest or is the best either, which is this delusional fan mentality. To the fighters, IT'S THEIR JOB, so even though it sucks, fans who look at the money angle are being realistic. Fans who think the best should fight the best are living in a damn fantasy world. It SUCKS, but it's the truth. Would you rather shovel donkey s**t for $5 an hour, or play video games for $80 an hour? The choice is pretty simple. Fighters don't think like fans, and there is no pension in boxing. It's all about money and the sooner delusional fans who talk about fighters fighting the best and being old school and honor and all that other bull, the better they will be.

I don't think fighters fear one another, and I think they want to prove they are the best when they get in the ring, but when it comes down to WHO they are fighting, it's all money.

Is there anything that GGG can't do. He's smart inside and outside the read.

And unlike a former, recently retired, undefeated fighter...He can read..:D

That's the dirty reality of the sport. However, you have to balance the greed vs the fans otherwise the sport will die and w/o fans you got jack ****. You can literally see the sport dying right now. No one is paying for these **** PPV's anymore.

The lowest of the low when it comes to boxing fans..

It's the acceptance of ducking and catchweights that allows it to keep happening.

He already has. The first fighter to win a belt and scare a fighter out of their division.

Because fighters use money as an excuse to duck fighters or to stall fights.

You can be a boxing fan who is fascinated by the action within the ring, or you can be a boxing fan that is fascinated by the action in the ring and the business aspect of the sport.

Not sure what you studied in school, but I studied in the Business Administration program, so I usually look at the business siide of things that interest me such as boxing.

    Ya dig?

It's just standard now, nearly every boxing fan turns into an account, promoter and manager when fights are discussed or being negotiated.

And nearly every boxing fan turns into a part time Dr and an expert on PED's when somebody is caught juicing.

This is simply wrong. Boxing is absolutely about proving who is the best. That's the point of the sport. That's the point of ANY sport.

As a fan of sport, you should want to see who is the best. In the perverse direction boxing has headed, fans are excited to see heroes they live vicariously through make big money taking easier roads. This is wrong - this mindset is destroying the sport.

Boxing is not an easy way to make money. I'm not concerned with how much money a fighter makes. That is their business. Boxing is not a charity. It's a brutal king of the hill type blood sport. If you're taking the easy path simply to "provide for your family" you have chosen the wrong profession and deserve criticism from fans.

There's nothing fascinating about boxing business, especially when its used to push **** poor fights, mismatches, and lining coffers instead of real fights.
