Well said, unfortunately that might be too much for TS to comprehend.

Dammit, I watched a Jerome Le Banner fight last night.

    Can I still watch boxing?

You're a clown. Boxing has been and will continue to be dominated by European and British fighters. It's the weak, pampered hoodrat,
Macdonald's fast food chomping Amerobums who keep getting schooled by the Kovalov's of the boxing world. Why would anybody care if some fans who they don't know and will never meet leave boxing for MMA? Are you 14 years old? You sound like a middle school student and a rather obtuse one at that.

    My favourite striker ever!

He's still going? What style/rules was it and how did he look?

I heart me some JLB too! :)

I think he retired this year.

The last fight of his that I found was against Claudiu Istrate, an up-and coming Rumeno-Italian. JLB still looks like the God of War, damn, that's one scary looking guy. :D

The fight was fairly interesting. First round was mostly Istrate showing off some fast hands, and I was thinking JLB is finished, he can't pull the trigger anymore like Klitschko. Second round ... well, I won't spoil it for you :good

i watch both. much prefer boxing, saying that i still have a lot of old pride dvd's. havent really paid much attention to mma for the last 5 years, but conor mcgregor has got me watching again. only his fights though.
I probs have the old k1 world max even with A-level boxing fights as my favourite events, even with all the rule changes to help masato win.

Really, I don't see why you can't enjoy both. I can understand how boxing fans may not like a grappling-heavy match, neither did I until I understood what was going on. (Thanks Mr Rutten!) But any fan of fighting should be able to appreciate Fedor on full destructo-mode or classics like Rua-Henderson.

K-1 was pretty damn good. Andy Hug, Cro Cop, Hoost, Sefo, Aerts and the guys were always entertaining.

    Top work by Jerome! :good

You could see that he had to go out guns blazing as his left leg/foot was hurting him.

    How come he retired?

Glad to see him go out on a win though. That's an awesome thing to do for an ageing fighter as it seals their retirement. A loos would mean "one more" etc. Glad to see him get the win! :good

Just read that he's not quite done. He's coming back to MMA against some Sumo guy in December. Frankly I prefer him as a kickboxer, but, OK. The guy is older than me and looks fantastic ... his hands were damn fast in the second against Istrate.
