Yeah JLB has seen better days..... At least he's been smart lately and fighting at his current level. I think he's too smart/prideful to pull a Leko, or Goodridge and go on a massive losing streak.
I've always wondered how well a PRIME JLB would do had he made the full time switch to boxing. I think he'd do pretty well.
King was calling him the "Great white hope". I think had he made the move around '95-'97 he'd have been a better version of Tommy Morrison. But I do reckon he'd have KO'ed the likes of Lewis etc because of them having shaky whiskers and Le Banner being more constant in the fights that mattered the most.
yeah i agree. skelton and ustinov and the moderate success theyve achieved lead me to think that a prime jlb would have held his own.... a good trainer would have eliminated some of his poor habits like getting caught on the ropes and such. lets not forget that a chinny quick handed southpaw had some great success in the early 00s!
